What We Offer
The World Bank Internship Program provides not only a unique learning experience but also financial support. Interns receive an hourly salary, and eligible candidates may receive a travel allowance of up to USD 3,000 to cover transportation costs to and from their duty station. Accommodation expenses, however, are the responsibility of the intern.
While most internships are based at the World Bank headquarters in Washington, DC, there are occasional opportunities in other country offices, depending on operational needs.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a full-time graduate program.
- Demonstrate fluency in English.
- Additional language skills in French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, or Chinese are highly desirable.
- Strong computing and technical skills are advantageous and can enhance your application.

What Happens Next?
