Benefits of the Scholarship
Recipients of the Study in Canada Scholarships will receive financial support to cover various costs, including:
- Visa or study/work permit application fees
- Airfare (economical and direct routes)
- Health insurance
- Living expenses such as accommodation, utilities, and food
- Local transportation, including public transit passes
- Books and supplies necessary for study or research (excluding computers and equipment)
Scholarship Value and Duration
Here’s an overview of the scholarship categories, funding amounts, durations, and activities covered:

Eligibility Requirements
For Candidates:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of one of the eligible countries/territories:
- Asia: Bangladesh, Nepal, Taiwan
- Europe: Türkiye, Ukraine
- Middle East and North Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia
- Sub-Saharan Africa: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda
- Be enrolled full-time at a recognized post-secondary institution in their home country.
- Continue paying tuition fees to their home institution for the entire duration of the scholarship.
For Canadian Institutions:
Participating Canadian institutions must:
- Be recognized as Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs).
- Have valid student exchange agreements that waive tuition fees (required for college/undergraduate-level exchanges).

For Candidates:

For Canadian Institutions:
Canadian post-secondary institutions are responsible for submitting applications on behalf of eligible candidates. The process involves:
- Registering for a My EduCanada account.
- Completing and validating the online application form for SICS.
- Uploading necessary documents, including supporting letters and academic records.
