Now in its 6th cohort, the 2025 edition of SECT is specially themed “Women in Energy Africa” and is dedicated exclusively to African women aged 18 to 30. This immersive, fully online program offers a unique blend of expert-led learning, real-world project experience, and personalized career support—all designed to prepare the next generation of energy leaders.

Program Schedule (July 2025 – February 2026)
The SECT Program runs for 30 weeks with an average time commitment of 10 hours per week.
1. July–August: Foundational Learning
- Attend the official program launch webinar
- Complete 6 core learning units and 1 assignment
- Join introductory coaching sessions and team meetings
- (~4 hours/week)
2. August–December: Practicum Project Phase
- Collaborate with an energy company on a real project
- Join weekly team and partner meetings
- Deliver final presentations and project outcomes
- Complete 6 specialized curriculum units
- (~10 hours/week for project tasks + 2 hours/week for meetings)
3. January–February: Career Development
- Finish 5 professional development modules
- Join exclusive webinars and mixers
- Receive 1-on-1 career coaching sessions
- (~4 hours/week)

Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open to women aged 18–30 who:

- Are fluent in English
- Are currently enrolled in or have completed a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree
